I started with AAD on day one, and have danced with Miss Abby long before AAD was open.  I came to AAD because I loved working with Miss Abby and had faith in her mission and attitude towards dance.  I danced for 6 years at AAD and loved every minute of it.  I took ballet, lyrical, jazz and hip hop classes during my time at AAD.  All of the teachers were supportive, kind, creative and driven to give my peers and me the best dance education they could while maintaining a warm and positive environment.  Three years ago I started volunteering in the tiny dancer classes.  I learned about how to work in the classes as an assistant teacher and two years ago became part of the AAD staff.  This experience working with the students and teachers is what made me realize that I wanted to pursue a career in early education, and I am currently an elementary education major at Boston College.  Dancing at AAD provided me with more than just a dance education.  The teachers and students at AAD provide an environment of passion, individual support and a tight knit community.  AAD students come out of classes with confidence, creativity and a life long support system.  Dancing at AAD was an experience that I will never forget.  It made me a better dancer and a stronger person.

"AAD is family, friendship and dance!  We have known Miss Abby since my daughter-Audrey was 3 years old.  She is now 9 years old and is enrolled in 3 dance classes at AAD--Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop.  Audrey loves the comfort, exercise and friendship at AAD; we hope to continue dance for many years. Miss Abby was instrumental in properly starting my daughter's dance "career."  We were thrilled when AAD opened and have been a part of the AAD family since the first year. "

"I asked my Abby what she liked about dance class and she said "Ms. Abby is crazy fun in class! She even let's us play with the parachute some times."

And now for mine:

As a parent with absolutely no experience in organized dancing, I was nervous about my 3 year old "girly" girl starting dance class. The first time I walked into AAD, Ms. Abby eased my concerns.  She somehow juggles being the director, an amazing dance instructor and a calming voice for an over anxious parent. My Abby, who will be starting her 3rd year with AAD in the Fall, waves at the studio each time we drive by and always asks "is today dance class day"? "

"Abundance Academy of Dance is a true blessing to our family.  I have 3 girls that love to dance and begged for dance lessons that we just couldn't afford until we found Abundance Academy.  The family discounts made dance a reality for our family.  I now have 3 very happy dancers and one that wants to be a dance teacher like Ms. Abby and is begging to take 3 classes next year.  All my girls talk constantly about how much they love their teachers and their dance classes.  My girls are always excited to go to class and never complain about getting ready for dance like they do for some of their other activities.  The teachers have a way of making each dancer feel special and loved.  The classes are always on time and the teachers are so enthusiastic it makes everyone excited for the day.  The recitals are breathtaking without tons of extra practice time which makes it so easy to participate even with a busy family life.  I love the way siblings and parents are invited to participate in parts of the recital too.  That just makes it extra special for everyone.  I can't say enough about this amazing school.  We will be dancing here for many years to come."

"This was my 3 year old daughter’s first year of dance and she loved it!  The teachers were great with the young children and her confidence dancing in front of people has grown tremendously.  Her first dance recital is an experience that we will never forget!"
