Class Placement

Ensuring that each student has the opportunity to learn to the best of their ability is vital for proper progress. If class placements are ‘sub-optimal’, students are likely to become disengaged and overwhelmed. Students progress at varied rates and this is taken into account when placing students in their classes. Placement is determined by many factors including class engagement, technique, musicality, alignment, ability to absorb and apply corrections and choreography. Students thrive and progress better and enjoy their lessons when they are placed at the proper level. Placement is made and approved solely by staff.
