AAD Mission

Welcome to Abundance Academy of Dance! Since we opened in 2010, we have operated on the foundation of a structured, positive learning environment that builds character and challenges the individual. We believe that self-confidence and self-respect can be built by dedicating one’s self to learning the art of dance in the classroom. We work to create an environment of mutual respect. Dancers learn to come prepared to class on time and to take pride in their efforts. Excellent attendance and attitude show respect for their classmates and for their teachers. AAD also aims to provide a fun experience for the entire family through special opportunities throughout the year. Our annual June recital highlights the dedication of our dancers in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, acrobatics, lyrical, and hip-hop. Our commitment to family values includes keeping our quality instruction at competitive prices.

Our highly knowledgeable instructors use their expertise to provide challenging and engaging dance training for ages 3-adult. Abundance Academy of Dance is conveniently located on New London Road, just a few minutes from Delaware and Maryland. Next to a beautiful park, the studio is located within The Shoppes at London Britain in Landenberg, PA. AAD has two beautiful mirrored dance studios, as well as a lobby with a two-way observation window for parents to enjoy watching their child reach, create and bloom! The plaza also houses a pizzeria, restaurant, hair salon, nail salon, gas station and auto shop.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: JULIA! 💕 From Julia: I joined AAD in its first year, and danced with Abby until I graduated high school. Every day at the studio, Abby was an example of confidence, strength, determination and kindness. Watching her grow AAD into the incredible community it is today, brings me, and every alumni, so much joy. While it has been 5 years since I danced at Abundance, the memories of the friends I made, the skills I gained, and the passion for dance I developed will always hold a special place in my heart. One of my favorite memories was rehearsing for my final recital during my senior year of high school. Abby created a dance for the five seniors to do together, to honor our time together, and the friendships that we have built. At one of our last practices, we came in on a Saturday to spend time together, and put the final touches on our number. We began the rehearsal sitting together on the floor stretching and reminding each other of the inside jokes we shared, our favorite dances throughout the years, and reflecting on what those experiences had meant to us. At our final recital, after performing the senior dance, we all walked off the stage with teary eyes, sad to be leaving AAD, but grateful for the dedication and genuine love and support Abby had given us for years. Abby provided us with a community of powerful women who supported each other, celebrated their differences, and lifted each other up through dance. As I see AAD growing and evolving as Abby provides even more opportunities to support her dancers socially and emotionally, I see a dance teacher and dance company like no other. Abby goes beyond teaching her dancers the skills to become beautiful and accomplished dancers; she treats everyone who walks through the door as an individual with unlimited potential that she makes her goal to unlock. I am proud to have called Abby my dance teacher, and even more grateful to continue to call her my friend. #AADALUMNISPOTLIGHT

Alumni Spotlight: Megan💕 From Megan: When an old recital song comes on, I cannot help but move my body to the steps that are so ingrained in my muscles. AAD has been such a monumental part of my life; the values and confidence that I’ve gained from this studio are just as rooted in me as the dances. Some of my favorite memories were the summer boot camps, Miss Kristen teaching us the ‘Lip Gloss’ dance, and eating unreasonable amounts of Rosa’s pizza with Cami before class. But I have to say, few things live up to the moment of the curtain opening on the first dance of the recital. Congrats on 10 years :) #aadalumnispotlight

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Grace💕 From Grace: I’ll always remember my first years at Abundance when it first opened. I was so young and looked up to the older girls so so much! Being able to have nights after class when we would sit in a circle and talk were some of my favorite memories. I grew so much throughout my time at AAD and always loved learning new routines, especially in an environment where we could also share some laughs. I grew up in this studio and cannot thank Ms. Abby enough for everything she’s done for me over the past ten years. To many more!💕 #AADALUMNISPOTLIGHT

Alumni Spotlight: Jenn💕 From Jenn: One of the many favorite memories I have from AAD: looking forward to the summer intensive class! Talk about some fun hard work! The work outs and stretching was intense in the summer heat, but always quickly improved my form and flexibility! The dances we learned were always unique because we got a taste of many styles! These intensives were one of the biggest things I looked forward to each summer, thank you AAD!💙 #aadalumnispotlight

Alumni Spotlight: Caroline💕 From Caroline: My first memory of AAD was coming to the studio for the grand opening and stamping my foot on the wall in teal paint. It meant so much to me to know that I was part of such a special and monumental moment for Miss Abby. AAD holds such a special place in my heart because of the love and friendship I experienced in the years spent there. My favorite dance I performed with AAD was PYT.
